The opportunity
Chronicle is supporting an international shipping organisation in the appointment of an Operations Executive in Dubai. This role is focused on container-vessel operations, stowage planning and the accurate coordination of operational information across vessels, terminals and internal teams.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and review container-vessel stowage plans.
- Coordinate operational requirements with vessels, terminals and relevant stakeholders.
- Monitor vessel schedules, cargo movements and operational updates.
- Maintain accurate reports and support timely operational decision-making.
- Identify planning conflicts and help resolve operational issues.
- Support continuous operations with the flexibility required by vessel schedules.
What we are looking for
- Hands-on container-vessel stowage-planning experience is mandatory.
- Approximately 1–3 years of experience in liner, feeder or terminal operations.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Shipping, Maritime, Logistics, Engineering or a related field.
- Strong Excel, reporting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility to support operations across a 24/7 shipping environment.
- Currently based in the UAE or able to relocate to Dubai.
