The opportunity
Chronicle is hiring a Branch Manager for an international freight-forwarding and logistics business expanding its UAE operation. The role combines branch leadership, commercial growth, operational oversight and financial accountability.
Key responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day branch operations and maintain high service standards.
- Own branch objectives across revenue, cost, profitability and operational performance.
- Develop business-development strategies and support customer acquisition and retention.
- Build relationships with clients, shipping lines, airlines, transport providers, customs brokers and logistics partners.
- Coordinate Sales, Pricing, Operations and Finance to deliver consistently for customers.
- Ensure compliance with UAE regulations and company policies.
What we are looking for
- Strong UAE logistics or freight-forwarding experience.
- Proven branch, team, commercial and financial leadership experience.
- Good knowledge of freight forwarding, transport and customs processes.
- Strong business-development capability and UAE market network.
- Fluency in English and Arabic is strongly preferred.
